Temporary and part-time employees, while not eligible for paid leave or health and life insurance, are entitled to holidays, travel accident insurance and the Employee Referral Bonus. Full time employees receive all of the following benefits.


Health Insurance
Our PPO health insurance program includes medical, dental and vision care and prescription drugs. Eligibility begins sixty days following the date of employment. Management determines any employee costs for health insurance annually.

An eligible employee who chooses not to enroll must sign a waiver of benefits. (Waiving benefits does not entitle employees to use the funds elsewhere, or take the benefit in cash.) An eligible employee may add coverage for family members at an additional cost that is deducted from the employee's paycheck pre-taxed.


Annual Leave
To provide time for periodic rest and relaxation, fulltime employees earn paid annual leave from the date they begin employment at STI.


Sick Leave
Full-time employees earn paid medical/sick leave from the date of their employment.


Holidays
STI observes all Federal holidays and, every four years, Inauguration Day. These holidays are observed on the days set aside for their observance by the Federal Government.


Employee Referral Bonus
STI encourages employee involvement in the recommendation and selection process on new team members through our Employee Referral Bonus program. All employees are eligible for a $500 bonus when an individual they refer is hired for a full-time position with STI and remains with STI for at least 90 days.


Direct Deposit
STI employees are paid on a semimonthly basis. Full-time employees have the option of having their paychecks deposited directly into their checking or savings accounts.


Jury Duty Leave
Full-time employees called to serve jury duty shall be granted all necessary leave with pay.

Funeral Leave
Three days leave may be granted by an employee's Manager in the event of the death of a member of the employee's immediate household.


Life Insurance
STI provides life insurance coverage in an amount equal to $10,000.

Travel Accident
All employees are covered for accidental death or dismemberment while on approved business travel. The maximum benefit for each employee is $100,000.


Optional Benefits
STI makes the following optional employee-paid benefits available through payroll deductions:

  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
  • Supplemental Life
  • Disability Income Protection
